Rudraprayag: Each of the seven individuals, including a pilot, installed a helicopter were killed after it crashed close to Kedarnath in Uttarakhand today.
The helicopter, conveying pioneers, crashed just after the departure from the Kedarnath hallowed place close to Garud Chatti in Rudraprayag at around 11.40 am, authorities said.
"Groups of six explorers and a pilot have been recuperated from the site," they said.
Starting Examination proposes terrible climate and unfortunate perceivability caused the accident. "The specific reason for the mishap will be known after a legitimate examination," said C Ravi Shankar, President, Uttarakhand Common Flying Improvement Authority.
Flight controller sources said an uproarious commotion was heard before the helicopter burst into flames. "A Ringer 407 helicopter VT-RPN having a place with a Delhi-put together Aryan Flying has crashed with respect to the way from Kedarnath to Guptkashi, perhaps because of overcast climate," sources told NDTV.
Visuals from the spot showed a huge tuft of smoke. The Public Fiasco Reaction Power (NDRF), State Catastrophe Reaction Power (SDRF) and the region police are completing a joint inquiry and salvage activity at the mishap site.
