Uttar Pradesh: Farmers to launch state wide campaign if poll promises not fulfilled

A splinter gathering of the Bharatiya Kisan Union on Tuesday held a significant ranchers' assembly in western Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor to feature the troubles of the worker local area.



The BKU (non-political) raised issues relating to sugar factories, forthcoming sugarcane levy, power supply and power bills among others during the 'kisan mahapanchayat', its office-conveyors said.


"During the approach the Uttar Pradesh decisions recently, the BJP had guaranteed alleviation to ranchers yet the Yogi Adityanath government has not followed through on them yet," BKU (non-political) pioneer Digamber Singh said.


"In the event that the public authority doesn't give help to ranchers on these issues, we will send off a mission against it across the state," Singh said, tending to many ranchers at the Bijnor mahapanchayat.


BKU (non-political), an enlisted bunch, was framed recently after its parted from the Naresh Tikait-drove BKU.


Saurabh Upadhyay of the BKU (non-political) said the new group isn't essential for the Samyukta Kisan Morcha yet has promised help to it and the BKU.
