Sports: Asia Cup 2022: Schedule announced, India to face Pakistan on 28 August

 Six groups will take part in the competition with one group yet to qualify. Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will start off the competition on 27 August.


India will confront main adversaries Pakistan in the 2022 Asia Cup as the timetable for the competition was reported on Tuesday night.


Asian Cricket Council President Jay Shah reported the timetable for the competition, affirming that the super occasion will begin on 27 August and happen till 11 September.

Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will conflict on 27 August, to dismiss from the multilateral occasion before India and Pakistan go head to head in the headliner.


The last of the competition is planned for 11 September at Dubai International Stadium.
