Police: Jharkhand Schoolgirl Dies After Stalker Set Her On Fire

 The student was set ablaze last week in Jharkhand's Dumka town when she was resting in her home.


A lady, who was Supposedly set ablaze by an individual after she clearly didn't respond to his suggestions in Jharkhand's Dumka region, surrendered to her consume wounds in the early hours on Sunday, police said.

"The lady surrendered to consume wounds during treatment at RIMS, Ranchi, around 2.30 am on Sunday. Her body will be brought to Dumka after the posthumous assessment," Dumka town police headquarters in-control Nitish Kumar told PTI.


The blamed, distinguished as Shahrukh, has proactively been captured, he said.


The occurrence occurred in Dumka town when the lady was sleeping soundly at her home on Tuesday morning.


"Shahrukh supposedly poured petroleum on the lady from a window and set her ablaze. The denounced is a development specialist," Mr Kumar had told PTI.
